HealthOrbit AI has been listed as a self-certified supplier on the NHS England Ambient Voice Technology Supplier Registry (Stage 1). This is the registry NHS England created to help NHS organisations find and evaluate ambient scribing suppliers.
What does the registry actually do?
It’s a directory. NHS organisations can see which suppliers are out there, what their products do, and use that information when they’re making local decisions about evaluation and procurement. Being listed doesn’t mean NHS England is recommending us or vouching for us. Each NHS trust, ICB, or GP practice still needs to do its own due diligence, checking whether a product meets their clinical, technical, IG, and safety requirements. That’s the right approach.

What our product does?
HealthOrbit AI’s ambient scribing listens during consultations and produces a draft of the clinical notes. The clinician then reviews that draft, makes any changes they want, and signs it off. Only then does it go into the patient record. We’re not automating clinical decisions. We’re helping with the paperwork.
Why do we think this matters?
Anyone who’s worked in or around the NHS knows that admin is one of the biggest pressures on clinical time. Doctors and nurses are stretched. A lot of that stretch comes from documentation. We wanted to build something that helps with that, without asking clinicians to hand over control or trust something they can’t see.
What clinicians are saying: Professor Kevin Anderson, GP Partner and Director of Workforce at Haxby Group, has been working with us on developing the product:
“It’s been a real pleasure working with Healthorbit to develop and refine their ambient voice product; it is now really helping us to reduce the admin burden for our clinicians, allowing them to be more ‘in the room’ with our patients. We are looking forward to utilising their innovative and collaborative approach to help address other challenges in our workflows to improve staff wellbeing and our patients’ healthcare journeys.”
What’s next?
If you’re an NHS organisation looking at ambient voice tech, we’re happy to have a conversation. Not a pitch, just a straightforward chat about how it works, what the governance looks like, and whether it might fit what you’re trying to do.
